How many people fit in a 6×3 gazebo?
A 6×3m gazebo seats 20 at trestle tables, or around 30 standing. The 8×4m seats 32, around 40 standing. For 40 to 60 we link two structures.
The honest numbers, from the gazebos we actually build:
6×3m (18 m²): 20 seated at trestles, about 30 standing with a bar and some high tables. This is the one for a family BBQ, a 30th with close friends, a christening lunch.
8×4m, the Estate (32 m²): 32 seated, about 40 standing. Most of our garden parties are this size. It takes four trestles and a bar comfortably, or five round tables at a squeeze.
Linked structures (64 m²+): 40 to 60 seated, up to 80 standing, depending on the layout. Two 8×4s side by side, or an 8×4 with a 6×3 off the end for the bar.
A rule of thumb if you're sizing it yourself: allow about 1.2 square metres per seated guest and 0.6 standing. Then add a bit, because people bring a plus-one.
If you're between sizes, go up. An empty corner is fine; guests stood outside in the rain is not. And if you send us two photos of the garden on WhatsApp we'll tell you what fits, no site visit needed.

We had a company let us down. We called Moments Covered and they came and saved the day. Even though it was the last part of their busy working day, it didn't matter, they rocked up at 9pm in the evening and rescued us.
From lights to flowers they made the marquee look amazing and nothing was too much trouble. From the first visit to help us plan, the set up and take down was first class. They took all the worry out of the day. If we could give them six stars we would.
The gazebos looked fantastic and were set up perfectly, with carpet and lighting. They don't stop at gazebos, they can also supply furniture, glassware and more. The gazebos are extremely robust and did not move in the wind and rain. They created a lovely warm and cosy atmosphere, and our guests were comfortable throughout the evening. And at a very reasonable price.
